Transcript: The Data Entry Challenge in Senior Living

The industry really needs to work on its data entry capabilities. Our CRM technology heavily depends on the inputs at the community level. I would also say that data entry can be very volatile in terms of how well it is entered into a system.

It’s not the community’s fault that they don’t enter data correctly—it’s challenging. We’ve made it really hard through the tools we provide, and I understand that community teams are working extremely hard to ensure that residents are happy. Entering data into a CRM is often the last thing on their minds.

We need to make sure that our technology is easy to use. This is a great opportunity to rethink our processes and find ways to streamline data entry for team members so they can properly enter the most important information. Then, we need to enhance that data with additional insights to create a complete view of our consumers—allowing us to better serve them and provide personalized messaging that truly resonates.
