Transcript: How to Showcase Your Resident Experience

I am a huge proponent of showing residents as they are and how they truly live. It may not look as polished as a stock photo, but here’s the thing—people know when they’re looking at stock images. A stock picture might appear 100% perfect, but if you showcase something real that is 95% perfect, it will be far more effective for sales and marketing.

The second thing—and something unfortunately missing in many marketing efforts—is the use of data. In other industries, sales and marketing promises are backed by data, yet this is often overlooked in senior living. The opportunity lies in visually presenting real experiences while supporting them with strong data-driven insights.

The last piece that sets the best sales and marketing strategies apart is the ability to convey a true sense of purpose. At the end of the day, that’s what people are looking for—confidence that their sense of self remains intact when they move. Families want to know that mom will still be mom until the very end.
