Transcript:The Unrealized Benefits of Joining a Club

One of the most impactful programs I am passionate about in the memory care space is The Club, a program offered by SRG.

The Club is designed for assisted living residents experiencing early brain changes who could continue thriving in assisted living with a different type of support. A club coordinator accompanies members throughout the day, ensuring they stay engaged in activities they enjoy, while receiving the individualized support they need.

The benefits of The Club are significant:

  • Extended Length of Stay – Residents remain in assisted living an average of 9 to 12 months longer before transitioning to memory care.
  • Increased Engagement – Members stay socially active and continue doing what they love.
  • Unexpected Health Benefits – Data shows that club participants are more likely to maintain or even gain weight, which is a positive indicator of well-being.

This approach is reshaping the way we support older adults, helping them stay active, connected, and thriving in assisted living for longer.
