Transcript: The Role of AI in Senior Living Marketing

I love AI. I’m a huge personal user of AI, and I believe it can be leveraged in a variety of ways.

However, where I think AI should not be used is in direct customer interactions. Senior living is an incredibly personal product and an emotional journey for both seniors and their adult children. When families are making such an important decision, they need to engage with real people who understand their experience and the emotions they are going through.

Where AI does add value is in creating efficiencies behind the scenes. By streamlining project management, enhancing data visualization, and uncovering insights, AI allows us to devote more effort and care to our customers.

Our investment in AI is focused on operational improvements that enhance the resident experience, rather than using it for content development or direct communication with families. In senior living, the human connection remains the most important factor in building trust and providing the support families need.
