Transcript: The Buyer’s Journey for Memory Care Requires More Delicacy

The memory care buyer journey has a heightened level of emotion. Many times, the adult child is in crisis mode. They’re juggling caregiving for their loved one, raising children, and handling countless responsibilities.

Because of this, the level of stress and emotion is much higher. There’s grief, and often fear. Many families see themselves in their parents and worry about their own future.

Memory loss still carries a stigma, making the process even more overwhelming. That’s why it’s so important to train sales teams to deeply understand what a day in memory care looks like.

When someone inquires about memory care, be patient, be supportive. If you’re focused only on hitting sales quotas, memory care may not be the right area for you. This should be about guidance, not pressure.
